Remix OS Android for Laptops/PCs
Description
Remix OS is a free Android version made by Jide, the company behind this operating system. This OS comes with certain basic Android features adding some missing functions that are present for Mac and Windows users.
You can find a windows interface, mouse and keyboard support, a system bar and file manager, etc. Obviously, it also has other 3rd party installed apps. Theoretically, you should be able to install this OS on most popular laptop brands, but support for more machines is being added with each new version.

Have you been searching for a free way to bring Android to your PC or laptop? Jide Technology's Remix OS might be the answer. Their latest creation, Remix OS, can operate on just about any computer or virtual device.
Remix OS Background
Remix OS was derived from Android-x86, an open-source project that allows Android to function on regular PC hardware. Remix OS provides a system for windowing that makes the operating system much more intuitive. You will enjoy running this software on your PC. You can also put Remix OS onto a USB drive and boot it up on the go. The USB drive even allows for the saving of your personal settings and files. You can think of the USB drive Remix OS as a Linux live system of sorts.
Remix OS Fundamentals
The software's start menu features browser, contacts, calculator, downloads, file manager, settings and so on. Jide also offers an array of apps that were built specifically for the Remix OS. You will find them in the Jide marketplace. The Google Play store functions as it should. All in all, Remix OS is the desktop edition of Android. In technical terms, it is a fork of Android. To be more specific Jide relied on the open source version of the OS and reconstructed it with different code for the settings, interface and beyond. The result is an experience that is very similar to Android. Those who are familiar with Android will enjoy little to no learning curve.
Remix OS Features
The software now features a menu bar like the taskbar used in Windows. It runs across the entire width of the display. The bottom left features a Jide logo button that will trigger an app launcher via the start menu. The desktop features icons for all of your folders, applications, icons and so on. It's quite similar to a Mac OS X. Pretty much everything you could expect from a desktop operating system is available with Remix OS. The program allows users to right click to access context menus along with those great keyboard shortcuts. You can even resize the windows to your personal preference. Users who take advantage of the apps in the Google Play™ store will find that the OS functionality is superior to Chrome OS extensions.
Remix OS Faults
Some users have complained that the program's cursor is annoying. It is an empty circle that fills as one click. This is somewhat confusing because it takes the appearance of a cursor that is loading. There is nothing loading in the background. Others have complained that the software's settings are primarily limited to the conventional ones on Android. Some users have expressed that there should have been a stronger focus on settings that were strictly beneficial to the new interface. Apps that typically function on phones often don't operate as designed unless the window is kept to the size of that used on a phone screen.
Remix OS Verdict
Many believe that Remix OS turned out to be what Chrome OS always should have been. The user experience is not consistent across apps. Remix OS shines brightest as a mobile operating system that can be used in particular circumstances. Look for most people to rely on it a means of quickly accessing files on a friend's computer or to boot into a media center. The bottom line is that Remix OS is certainly smooth yet some will find that it is not worth installing on a MacBook, Toshiba, Dell or another computer. Others had an excellent experience, and Jide, the company behind this OS, promised better and improved future versions so I would not be surprised to see this OS gaining traction in the future.

USB stick / Flash Drive guide:
- For this method, you need Etcher / Rufus, PrimeOS iso file. We recommend you to use a decent speed USB drive (8GB or larger).
- For flashing PrimeOS to the USB drive, plug in your USB drive and launch Etcher / Rufus. Now select PrimeOS iso file, create the bootable USB.
- Note: Be careful with the steps below and backup your data if you're not sure about what you are doing.
- For installing PrimeOS on your HDD/SSD/SDcard, first create a new partition for PrimeOS ( suggested minimum size is 16GB ).
- Turn off secure boot of your device and then boot up the PrimeOS USB by pressing Esc or F12, depending on your bios menu key and selecting the PrimeOS USBto boot from.
- Select the ‘Install PrimeOS option from GRUB menu.
- The installer will load, and you will have an option to choose which partition you created earlier. Choose it, and select Ext4 for formatting the drive.
- When it asks if you want to install Grub, select YES.
- When finished, the installer will then ask if you want to run PrimeOS, you can just reboot here, and make sure you remove the USB drive.

Kali Linux - Rolling Edition 2016 -1 (x86/x64) - Direct+Torrent+Arm Images
Kali Linux is a Debian-derived Linux distribution designed for digital forensics and penetration testing. It is maintained and funded by Offensive Security Ltd. Mati Aharoni, Devon Kearns and Raphaël Hertzog are the core developers.
Kali Linux is preinstalled with over 300 penetration-testing programs, including Armitage (a graphical cyber attack management tool), nmap (a port scanner), Wireshark (a packet analyzer), John the Ripper (a password cracker), Aircrack-ng (a software suite for penetration-testing wireless LANs), Burp suite and OWASP ZAP (both web application security scanners). Kali Linux can run natively when installed on a computer's hard disk, can be booted from a live CD or live USB, or it can run within a virtual machine. It is a supported platform of the Metasploit Project's Metasploit Framework, a tool for developing and executing security exploits.
It was developed by Mati Aharoni and Devon Kearns of Offensive Security through the rewrite of BackTrack, their previous forensics Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. The third core developer Raphaël Hertzog joined them as Debian expert.
Kali Linux is based on Debian Jessie. Most packages Kali uses are imported from the Debian repositories.
Kali Linux is developed using a secure environment with only a small number of trusted people that are allowed to commit packages, with each package being signed by the developer. Kali also has a custom-built kernel that is patched for injection. This was primarily added because the development team found they needed to do a lot of wireless assessments.
Supported platforms
Kali Linux is distributed in 32-bit and 64-bit images for use on hosts based on the x86 instruction set and as an image for the ARM architecture for use on the BeagleBoard computer and on Samsung's ARM Chromebook.
The developers of Kali Linux aim to make Kali Linux available for ARM devices.

Features
Kali Linux has a dedicated project set-aside for compatibility and porting to specific Android devices, called Kali Linux NetHunter.
It is the first Open Source Android penetration testing platform for Nexus devices, created as a joint effort between the Kali community member “BinkyBear” and Offensive Security. It supports Wireless 802.11 frame injection, one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, HID keyboard (Teensy like attacks), as well as Bad USB MITM attacks.
BackTrack (Kali's predecessor) contained a mode known as forensic mode. This capability was carried over to Kali via live boot. This mode is very popular for many reasons such as many Kali users already have a bootable Kali USB drive or CD, and this option makes it easy to apply Kali to a forensic job. There are however some changes to forensic mode over the regular operation of the system, such as forensic mode doesn't touch the hard drive or swap space and auto mounting is disabled. However, it is recommended by the developers that if Kali is going to be used for real world forensics that these things be tested in that environment.

مائیکروسافٹ کی جانب سے ونڈوز ایکس پی کی سپورٹ ختم کر دی گئی ہے یعنی اب مائیکروسافٹ ونڈوز ایکس پی کے لیے کسی قسم کی کوئی اپ ڈیٹس جاری نہیں کرے گی۔ جس کے بعد ایکس پی میں دریافت ہونے والی سکیوریٹی خامیوں کو بھرنا مشکل ہو جائے گا۔ بعض لوگوں کا خیال ہے کہ ہیکرز اور وائرسز بنانے والوں نے ایکس پی میں موجود کئی خامیوں کو ابھی تک استعمال نہیں کیا۔ کیونکہ وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ مائیکروسافٹ جب ایکس پی کی سپورٹ ختم کر دے تو ان خامیوں کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے ایکس پی کے صارفین کو نشانہ بنائیں۔ اس طرح بے یارومددگار ونڈوز ایکس پی کے لیے مزاحمت کرنا بے حد مشکل ہو جائے گا۔ اسی صورت حال کے پیش نظر مائیکروسافٹ اپنے صارفین کو بارہا کہہ چکی ہے کہ وہ اپنا آپریٹنگ سسٹم اپ گریڈ کر لیں۔

اگر ونڈوز ایکس پی پر چلنے والے پروگرامز کی بات کی جائے تو اس کے لیے مائیکروسافٹ نے ’’ونڈوز ایکس پی موڈ‘‘ فراہم کر رکھا ہے، جس کے ذریعے ونڈوز سیون میں رہتے ہوئے ایکس پی استعمال کی جا سکتی ہے۔
جیسا کہ ہم نے ذکر کیا کہ دوسرا بڑا مسئلہ ہارڈ ویئر کا ہے۔ ونڈوز ایکس پی استعمال کرنے کی بڑی وجہ یہی ہے۔ اگر آپ کے پاس ایک ہلکے ہارڈ ویئر کی مشین ہے اور آپ اس پر ایک محفوظ آپریٹنگ سسٹم استعمال کرنا چاہتے ہیں تو آپ کو
